I just got my Fanatec CSR wheel in the mail the other day after a week of patiently waiting for Fedex.
Using it for the first time reminded me of what the Forza engine does so well, which is little four-wheel drifts. No, not that smokey, full oppo stuff. To be honest, I think Gran Turismo does crazy show drifting better. But Forza absolutely kills it when it comes to low angle, low countersteer drifts with all four wheels sliding just a tiny bit.
No where is this more evident and accessible than in some of the slower cars. Put them on the right track and they come alive. Here's a quick video I made this morning of an Alpha Romeo Montreal, dead stock, going down a section of Fujimo Kaido.
It's pretty much the closest thing to motoring bliss that doesn't involve an actual motored vehicle.

You'll soon discover the terrible Fanatec reliablility. Just wait a few months.

But, but, they're German! German electronics are infallible!

Hm so you're saying don't buy one?

I wouldn't say don't buy one, because it's the best (and really only good) wheel for the XBOX, plus it works on PC and PS3. But it has many small problems such as the pedals or shifter not working when you boot it up.

You can ONLY 4 wheel drift...
